Sales Lead
Overview:
This position is responsible for growing the Sky Zone group events business (youth and adult) and other sales initiatives by leading outbound sales efforts, fielding inbound sales activities in our call center, and training / overseeing front desk team members (sales associates). The Sales Lead will also oversee some events, fundraisers, and birthday parties. As a key member of overall park leadership, this position will also handle Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute plans to drive profitable revenue growth with groups (previous and targeted). Lead outbound sales activities with groups and institutions
- Drive continuous improvements in event offering programs and execution through guest and team member feedback as well as competitive analyses
- Lead and/or partner with operations team to ensure clear communication and outstanding events execution
- Ensure consistent and accurate call center messaging and communication within the team and to guests
- Train sales associates and oversee their execution of sales initiatives and goals.
- Support (and occasionally lead) park preparation of corporate-initiated promotions (national and/or park specific).
- Lead or co-lead Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities for the park as the sole manager and occasionally as co-manager when another manager is also on duty.
Qualifications / Skills:
- POS system experience is a plus
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication
- Prospecting and direct sales experience (phone and/or in-person)
- Membership sales experience is a plus
- Leadership (and some management) experience would be helpful
Compensation:
- Base pay: $18/hour
- Bonus Pay: Sales goals, Customer satisfaction goals
Availability:
- Part-time role (about 25 – 29 hours / week); could become full-time, if mutually agree on personal desire and business need
- Typical schedule will be Wednesday – Sunday (some weekly flexibility). May vary between morning and evening shifts each week, depending on events
