Busby Cabinets, the leading Design-Build Company of luxury kitchen and bath cabinets and residential interiors in Central and Western Florida is seeking a Field Project Manager with experience managing jobsites and working with sub contractors. Knowledge of custom cabinetry installation is an advantage.
We are offering this full time position in our Service & Installation Department to an individual who is professional, detail orientated, computer literate, able to meet deadlines, and takes a proactive approach to their job.
Busby Cabinets provides our clients with award winning designs, innovative products, and solidly built cabinetry that can last a lifetime. The applicant will ultimely be part of our Installation staff and have a huge role in managing the installation of our products.
Duties include:
- Provide assistance with measuring and checking mechanical layouts for projects with Designers.
- Review design drawings and how they interact with current framing, and if changes are needed, consult with the appropriate parties for the needed changes.
- Establish and build relationships with builders, site supers, and homeowners.
- Installation date management including communications with builders, site supervisors, and homeowners.
- Visit jobs regularly for site progress before and during install.
- Schedule installation crews, to meet jobsite and production readiness.
- Approve payment requests for installers.
- Monitor and direct personnel to complete punch list items.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent problem solving aptitude.
- A working knowledge of cabinetry and cabinetry installation required.
- The ability to work alone as well as a team to push projects to completion.
- Must be able to listen and learn from other team members.
- Must be able to meet deadlines set forth by the Director of Installations.
- Must think proactively
Salary:
- Dependent upon experience.
