The HR Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment, promoting employee satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
This is a remote position based within the Eastern Standard Time Zone.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and resource for all HR-related employee inquiries
- Maintain consistent practices with company policies/procedures and help align HR initiatives with business objectives
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment efforts for various positions
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state laws
- Foster positive employee relationships and provide guidance and support to all staff members
- Stay abreast of and comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all HR-related matters.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of HR policies and practices within the restaurant
- Support the management team with various HR administrative tasks as needed.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant experience and education
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role within the restaurant industry
- Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
