THE JOB:
The Slots Guest Services Representative at Park MGM is focused on enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of slot machines on the casino floor. You will assist guests with slot machine payouts as well as enrollment into the MGM Rewards program, explaining benefits and promotions. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $16.00 / per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Process slot machine jackpots, perform hopper fills, and meticulously complete all required Regulatory and Federal Tax paperwork with precision and clarity

Stay current on company and departmental updates to effectively address guest inquires, and to recommend shows, restaurants and attractions

Enroll guests into the MGM Rewards program, ensuring they receive exclusive benefits available at MGM Rewards destinations

Maintain a thorough understanding of the diverse range of slot machines situated on the casino floor to effectively assist guests in locating specific machine types or denominations

Monitor your designated section of the casino floor, promptly responding to slot machine lights and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

Maintain an organized and clean slot area paying attention that slot machine chairs are pushed in and slot guests are receiving personalized service

Make minor repairs to slot machines by clearing hopper jams and EZ-Pay ticket jams, contacting Leadership and/or technical support as needed

Manage a currency bank for "pouch pay" to facilitate hand-pay jackpots and offer change assistance to guests as needed

Promptly notify Leadership and/or Security of any underage individuals as required to ensure compliance with casino policies and regulations

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent

Nevada State Gaming Registration
-
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-
One (1) year of previous guest services experience in the slot department of a similar resort setting

Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
