Summary:
The Billing Clerk will gather data, calculate charges and fees, and create invoices for billing purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers phone calls and assist customers and contractors with inquiries.
- Processes data, quality checking contractor invoices and producing professional and accurate invoices to customers.
- Work with contractors to resolve open issues, such as payment issues and invoice disputes.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Competencies:
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a similar environment
Experience: Data entry experience a plus.
