Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Work directly with the Operations Supervisor in receiving, opening and scanning incoming mail and claims related correspondence. Assign/Attach all incoming correspondence to a claim or establish where the correspondence should be routed in order to be addressed timely by the appropriate staff member.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and when necessary solicit all mail from each claims office for the company.

Scan all incoming claims related mail to a claim, or route to appropriate staff person to identify who should receive the mail.

Sort all incoming mail that is not related to a claim and route to the appropriate staff person. When possible, and appropriate, the documents should be scanned and routed by e-mail to the staff member.

Other related assignments as assigned.

Must maintain a regular presence in the office.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED required.

2 years prior work experience – insurance experience not required

Strong clerical and communication skills

Strong organizational skills.
