Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant works closely with the Controller, as well as the Accounting, AR, and AP teams and various affiliated departments across multiple locations. The Senior Accountant is responsible for daily banking, reconciliation of Accounts Receivables, P&L for other United locations, maintenance of the fixed asset ledger, various advanced analytical reporting using financial systems and Microsoft Excel, and more. The Senior Accountant acts in place of the Controller in his/her absence when required and is knowledgeable about all roles that fall under the Accounting umbrella.
Responsibilities:
· Book and prepare cash receipts for previous day that United received to post payments to the customer accounts
· Reconcile company bank accounts and monitor daily bank balance
· Administer fuel cards to associates who drive company vehicles
· Reconcile Accounts Receivable to close the financial month
· Prepare PNL for downstate GA branches and check accruals
· Reconcile various GL accounts
· Maintain fixed asset ledger by logging new assets and setting up depreciations
· Reconcile chargeback accounts on GL
· Prepare the Audit PBC Checklist for financial statement audits
· Perform various financial reporting (e.g. variance analysis)
· Perform functions of Controller when required
· Assist in the coding of invoices and expense reports for the GL
· Cross-train job functions with other teammates
· Minimal driving and travel to other company locations or other locations when needed
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years or older
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
· Proficient in use of financial software
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Valid driver’s license for applicable state
· Able to secure and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
·Excellent communication and collaboration skills
·Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills
· Effective data and file maintenance skills
Proficient in use of computers, calculators, phones, copiers/scanners, and printers

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
