Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Test Engineer with extensive experience developing and executing test plans, significant experience coordinating test events and has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the DoD 5000.2 testing requirements. This position is located on Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. In this position, the Senior Test Engineer:
- Serves as an expert and participates in the planning, conducting and reporting of system-level technical testing at the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF), APG, YPG, and Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and system contractor facilities; other locations may be required based on mission needs.

Assists in coordinating and conducting functional tests for PM Tactical Radios requirements in support of the PEO C3T initiatives

Assists in summarizing, documenting, and reporting various C5ISR test data and results to the PM TR Testing Branch Chief

Participate in working groups and materiel development meetings to assist in developing coordinated fielding and testing schedules

Develops, coordinates and executes Test Design Plans for testing and other PEO C3T programs and transformation initiatives.

Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.

Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

Provides professional engineering support with increasing independent accomplishment.

Develops, maintains, updates and reports status for system test cases for testing.

Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Serves as a subject matter expert, providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.

Participates in all phases of risk management.
Experience and Skills:-
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related technical discipline

A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively complex experience in testing of complex mechanical, electromechanical and electrical/electronic systems; an additional four (4) years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military experiencey may be substituted for education.

Must have a current/active security clearance with minimum eligibility and access at the secret level

Must have demonstrated experience writing and executing formal test plans on military communications equipment as well as leading test and evaluation IPT/WIPT's to support events such as LBRR, TRR, Performance Verification Test(s), IOT&E, FOT&E, etc.

Must be knowledgeable with the Army's future force requirements and Agile Acquisition Process

Travel will be required in this position up to 50% with trip durations typically being 2-3 weeks per event.
