Responsibilities:
- Analyze maintenance issues to prioritize daily emergencies, minimizing plant downtime and enhancing productivity.
- Assign tasks and provide instructions to subordinates for necessary repairs.
- Establish and oversee preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring repair quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform basic plant and field engineering activities including equipment design, fabrication, and installation.
- Inspect repairs to ensure structural integrity and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Create blueprints, sketches, and drawings for plant modifications, new installations, and existing applications.
- Procure necessary materials for maintenance repairs and investigate potential material substitutions for equipment and process enhancements.
- Manage project budgets for electrical and mechanical initiatives, adhering to financial targets.
- Implement and maintain a proactive cost reduction program, evaluating past projects and exploring new improvement ideas.
- Review and process maintenance and electrical purchase requests, liaising with suppliers to assess availability, costs, quality, and alternatives.
- Monitor the procurement process from initiation through delivery, storage, use, installation, and payment approval.
- Generate and maintain documentation for all purchased electrical and mechanical items, maintaining a comprehensive filing system for equipment history.
- Ensure a safe working environment for maintenance staff, contractors, and visitors within the plant.
- Coordinate equipment and facility shutdowns in collaboration with the production department.
- Analyze production records to optimize equipment utilization and enhance production efficiency.
- Provide training and supervision for Maintenance Technicians to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Pay: $100,638.64 - $110,209.98 per year
