About the job:
We are growing and need help with improving our processes, quality and product design. The core mission of the Process Improvement Engineer is to lower costs, improve quality, and increase output of our upholstery factory. You will also oversee developing new products from start to finish. To design products to be built in the most efficient process and to teach the production leads on those processes.
You must:
Be absolutely fanatical about and have a deep understanding of lean and lean principles.
Have experience with design software, especially AutoCAD.
Have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a production environment implementing lean principles.
Have knowledge and understanding of machinery both mechanically and electrically to help step in diagnosing issues if they arise.
Be absolutely fanatical about product quality.
Be able to demonstrate strong project management skills and to keep things on task and on time.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a servant leadership attitude.
Have a passion for helping others achieve in life.
Bilingual is a huge plus.
