IT Specialist/Desktop
New Deantronics is looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team and provide technical support and assistance to our employees. As an IT Help Desk Administrator, you will:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices
- Manage and maintain computer systems and networks, including backups, security, and updates
- Install desktop and/or laptop equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, desktop and remote equipment and software.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Update documentation and training materials for IT policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with new technologies and best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Mac, and Linux operating systems
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Experience with VMware
- Knowledge of Cisco Networking and WebEx Control Hub administration.
- Past experience with Cisco Webex Room video systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- A passion for technology and a willingness to learn new skills
Degree not required but preferred.
3-5 Years experience
Microsoft 365 Administrator Certification is a Plus
Experience with Solidworks is a Plus
