Location: Remote (Candidates MUST live within 40 miles of one of Freddie Mac's Office locations)
Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH). This is a long-term position with the opportunity to extend following an initial contract period through the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting Process and Execution:
- Serve as the main liaison between users and product/development teams to design and manage financial forecasting (M+) executions in Production and UAT environments.
- Manage the pipeline of execution requests to support DFAST, Capital Forecasting, and Annual Business Plan processes.
- Gather and manage necessary inputs for these executions.
- Execute technical processes for forecasting and provide timely status updates to users.
Monitoring System Execution in Production:
- Use automated and other tools to detect problems in the operational environment for mission-critical processes.
- Provide periodic production support during evening and weekend shifts (rotation within the team for coverage; total hours not expected to exceed normal weekly hours).
- Proactively communicate with technology and business teams to resolve operational problems.
- Implement automation requirements and technical enhancements.
- Gather and communicate patterns/trends in application performance to key stakeholders.
First-line Requirements Validation:
- Validate output generated by applications using state-of-the-art tools.
- Seek opportunities to improve the quality of systems and processes.
- Assist in the development process for minor enhancements and updates to surveillance applications.
Analysis and Communication:
- Perform designed or ad-hoc analysis to support various stakeholders.
- Clearly craft and articulate messages related to Finance and Technology to various audiences.
- Design ways to automate tasks using Python or other programming languages.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of work experience.
- 4+ years of experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel.
- Proven ability to perform analytical tasks and analyze large datasets.
- Ability to work on weekends and evenings for one week a month (on-call).
- Experience in interfacing with or supporting mission-critical applications.
- MS in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
