JOB DESCRIPTION
AROL NA is seeking a regional field service technician with a proven track record supporting complex machinery.
The Mechanical Field Service Technician will be responsible for the company’s efforts supporting technical issue resolution and general customer service needs for the United States and Canada in order to ensure our customer’s satisfaction. The position requires a broad understanding of the company’s products, the closing systems industry (caps and capping), filling/rinsing, labeling, palletizing, and line controls with proven technical experience and the ability to manage issues to resolution in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
· Up to 75% travel to customers facilities to install, diagnose, and repair Arol capping equipment.
· Travel may include weekend and overnight work as needed per the customer’s production schedule
· Work will include mechanical troubleshooting, startup of machines, debugging, and rebuild/repair of mechanical assemblies.
· Interact with and professionally communicate with customers and Arol departments regarding service and product issues.
- Understand issues and communicate them to others by means of drawings, photos, and professional reports.
· Provide remote support via phone calls, emails, skype to other Field Service Engineers, management, engineering and the client as needed.
· Commission and supervise of the installation of Arol capping equipment and provide training to the end user.
· Promote the company’s services and parts programs and identify additional customer care opportunities.
· Adhere to internal processes and implementation of field service systems to improve the efficiency and department organization.
· Other duties as assigned from your Manager.

· Assist the company in maintaining and improving relationships with key accounts.
· Demonstrate professional level skills to positively motivate, overcome barriers, and act as champion / change agent for continuous organizational improvement.
· Support the territory’s sales growth efforts in both traditional AROL customer base and with new accounts with a proactive approach to Aftermarket needs of AROL customers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Summary of Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities, will be considered and could include:
· A minimum of five years’ experience within a troubleshooting role is required
· At least three years’ experience in mechanical skills involving setup, troubleshooting, and repair.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical technical applications, with progressively proven track record.
· A diversity of backgrounds and skills including experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, aftermarket support and customer care.
· A technical degree or certification is preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
