Technical Sourcer
Hours: M-F 1st Shift 8am-5pm with lunch break
Notes from Intake:
- Seeking a Technical Sourcer that will work a split desk model with a Sr. Recruiter.
- Must be comfortable with the split desk model with a focus on sourcing and working with Sr. Recruiters on roles. 90% of their day will be focused on sourcing.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Really just need a solid Technical Sourcing experience for this one, Auto is a plus.
- Focus of role: I would say sourcing for corporate FTE in the Technical space, they are looking for someone who can source to fill 20 niche super difficult roles a year versus 200 normal juniors to mid- level roles a year
- Start as soon as possible after onboarding is completed.
- Worksite: Must be able to work 3 days/week onsite in Bloomfield Hills, MI (T, W, TH)
- Looking for candidates to have at least a couple years of sourcing experience in a technical capacity which could include Tier 1 OEM suppliers.
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Sourcer to work with the Talent Acquisition team and understand the recruitment needs of the company. You will be responsible for working with a Sr. Recruiter with a focus on Sourcing for a variety of roles. Your job will be to develop a sourcing strategy and help to hire top talent that will support company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and incorporate an effective sourcing strategy
- Produce and update job specifications and descriptions
- Arrange sourcing materials
- Post job ads on the company’s website and relevant job boards
- Evaluate resumes, cover letters, and job applications
- Perform interviews and evaluate the candidates’ skills, knowledge, and experience
- Follow up with successful candidates and update the company’s internal records
- Be a point of contact between the candidate and the company during the selection process
Requirements:
- Must be able to handle a req load of 15-25 openings
- The automotive industry experiences a big plus NOT required!
- Experience with Sourcing for Engineering roles
- 4+ years of previous sourcing in recruitment (combination of agency and in house preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills
- Previous experience with conducting various types of interviews
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and an unmatched desire to provide excellent service to our candidates, hiring teams, and recruiting partners
- Is solution oriented, result driven, proactive and flexible
- Has a strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful, works independently, motivated by own drive and passion, capable of working independently as well as working in a team
