Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Henderson, NV
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planner to create and maintain a precise production schedule across our manufacturing resources in line with the master production plan. This role involves scheduling production activities to align with manufacturing performance and inventory strategies. The Production Planner is a crucial cross-functional team member, taking necessary actions to support production efficiency, cost-saving initiatives, quality investigations, and various supply chain activities.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Review and update the finite production schedule regularly, ensuring alignment with production plans.
- Generate and manage effective daily and weekly production schedules.
- Collaborate with inventory control and Master Planner to optimize compliance with supply chain strategies.
- Determine system capacity and drive the production schedule to enhance production attainment and adherence.
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and delivery plans, working with purchasing to support production demands effectively.
- Support key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, cost targets, and inventory levels.
- Actively participate in the overall physical inventory process.
- Promote and implement 5S concepts and continuous improvement activities, ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards.
- Follow all cGMP and SOPs as defined by policies and procedures to ensure FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- APICS Certification is preferred but not required.
- Deadline-driven professional with excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Experience with forecasting software.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, ERP/MRP systems in a multi-line, multi-step manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,192.00 - $65,000.00 per year
