Curriculum and Learning Design Specialist, ResearchILD

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative curriculum developer and writer to join our team and play a key role in the development and implementation of the SMARTS program. The Curriculum and Learning Design Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging and effective educational materials that utilize educational technology to deliver the SMARTS curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program staff, researchers, educators, and instructional designers to review, revise, and develop existing and new SMARTS curricula and related products and tools.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
- Write clear, concise, and instructionally sound content for various learning platforms, including online modules, interactive activities, white papers, case studies, and blogs for various audiences.
- Integrate educational technology tools and platforms into the curriculum to enhance learning and engagement.
- Pilot test and revise curriculum materials based on feedback from educators and students.
- Prepare and analyze periodic reports on the use and effectiveness of curricula and online learning tools.
- Support annual conference, webinars, and training activities by creating and managing website and virtual course platform.
- Develop multimedia components, such as videos, animations, and interactive exercises, to support the curriculum.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Development, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with incorporating educational technology tools, i.e. WordPress, Canva, Vyond, Articulate into curriculum development.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging instructional content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
