We are seeking highly motivated individual with a PhD to join our team as a Research Scientist. Our research program is focused on investigating protein biogenesis and glycosylation in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus using HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein as a model.
As a Research Scientist, you will investigate the following key areas:
- Explore the envelope synthesis and glycosylation process that begins in the ER.
- Investigate the role of glycosylation in protein quality control and trafficking.
- Study how glycosylation influences protein folding and functions.
- Investigate the interplay between glycosylation and immune recognition and study immune responses in rabbits.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- Strong background in protein biochemistry and cellular biology.
- Proficiency in data analysis (transcriptomic and proteomic) and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience testing immunogenicity in rabbits
- Experience in microscopy (confocal etc.,).
Application Process: Interested candidates should submit the following:
1. Cover Letter: Briefly describe your research interests and relevant experience.
2. CV: Highlight your academic achievements, research projects, and publications.
3. Contact Information: Provide references who can speak to your qualifications.
