Our team in Henderson currently has an opening for a Regional Inventory Manager North & West
- Review and approve new item requests and document customer commitments for “true” One Customer Products. True = no other customers for the same chemical within BMS.
- Review aged inventory monthly (minimum) with Commercial Team to find sales outlets and avoid disposal costs.
- Actively manage inventory to identify slow-moving products early and take action to prevent aging.
- Keep > 60-day inventory value at or below the target of 25% of total inventory value (does not include packaging and misc. items) • Continuously improve Warehouse Factory Packaged Inventory Turns for your Branches.
- Align Factory Packed inventory stocking levels with combined demand from Brenntag Essentials and Brenntag Specialties customer base (utilization of Qlik reports and Blue Yonder in the future to help identify aging inventory or backorders)
- Improve On Time In Full and Back-Order performance in alignment with Ops Team KPIs.
- Manage product disposal process for assigned branches.
- Reduce and seek to eliminate stock outs of Branch’s top 10 Factory Packed products.
- Effective leadership and development of the branch Inventory Managers and Inventory Coordinators to achieve Inventory Management initiatives.
- Collaboration with the Operations, Commercial, and Product Management teams to achieve BMS Service Excellence initiatives. Lead inventory audits to increase inventory accuracy.
- Accounting and reporting of inventory surplus, product returns, and any damages in the district.
- Support the location of required materials in other districts to support order fulfillment using Hub & Spoke logic.
- Monitor overall inventory levels within the district and advise Inventory Managers and Inventory Coordinators of actions needed by the branch.

Support Inventory Managers and Inventory Coordinators by placing requisitions based on sales reports and forecasts (as a backup as needed)

Coordinate inventory requirements across branches in the district and ensure warehouse transfers are correctly handled.

Communicate with all parties involved in sourcing managed and non-managed products.

Mitigate problems with inventory levels, logistics, etc., if the Inventory Coordinator can find no solution.

Ensure shelf-life management of warehouse stock and support utilization of materials across branches.

Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or commensurate education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business-related reports and spreadsheets.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members. Ability to effectively present information to management.
- Understanding of Quality Systems – ISO-based, Strong organizational and communication skills
