Description:
The primary role of this hybrid Proposals Development Associate is to assist in coordinating and crafting compelling responses for all new potential project opportunities presented to the KPS Life Commercial/Sales Organization. This would include but not limited to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and addressing any ad-hoc needs of client requests. Further, this role has administrative support tasks related to Commercial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Participate in the triage of RFPs/RFIs from Biopharmaceutical Sponsors via the Account Directors and facilitate the established process for internal review
· Facilitate proposal development meetings and ensure the proper representation required for the construct of a thorough and accurate response document, including liaison and consultation with internal staff to obtain value added and differentiating input.
· Works closely with Global Business Development team and involved departments in the formulation of financially profitable and legally responsible project budgets.
· Be the primarily responsible party for the upkeep of Loopio library, uploading all proposal materials and maintaining the health of the library by assigning internal audit cycles.
· Participate in the biweekly global proposal pipeline meetings.
· Participate in the monthly Commercial team meeting.
· Attend sponsor telecoms and/or face to face meetings as needed to answer questions, obtain clarity, or provide input to the final construct of the proposal/RFI response document.
· Update the Bullhorn CRM tool to include the opportunity manager function which captures all relevant department metrics and analytics.
· Provide routine and ad-hoc reports to the AD as needed to support request from CCO, LVC and the BODs.
· Maintain select company databases: Master assignment list, TA areas, Reassignment list, Rate cards, etc
Requirements:
· 4-year Business or Science degree
· Strong written and oral communication skills a must
· Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Excel, Word & PowerPoint
· Professional appearance and presence.
· Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
· Strong organizational and process development skills
