Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of sales techniques and up-selling strategies
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of beverages
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Understanding of retail math for inventory management is an advantage
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly and outgoing personality
