The Field Service Technician in Lone Pine, CA will be part of our growing solutions team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

Provide daily on-site service and administration to core infrastructure.

Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.

Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field.

Use remote monitoring and maintenance systems, such as N-Able, to resolve high tier

issues for clients related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Provide detailed documentation as to actions taken to resolve issues, client configuration information, client communications, expenses, and time within the ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus ticketing system.

Interface with a client’s vendors to resolve technical issues to the client's satisfaction as well as lead technical implementation of new vendor infrastructure.

Provide both scheduled and emergency on-site support to clients.

Build positive and professional relationships with customers.

Work with Tier 2 and Service Desk teams to effectively triage open issues and requests for efficient handling of ticket queues.

Manage access and licensing lifecycle to core infrastructure to ensure availability to needed resources on-demand

Keep network and endpoint inventory up to date.

Ensure ongoing technical security of company assets.
Position Requirements:
-
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a field service role with experience working in Remote Maintenance and Monitoring (RMM) Software and a Ticketing System.

A minimum of 3+ years in an administrative role managing accounts, endpoints, and core infrastructure.

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment (Servers, workstations, laptops, printers, and other networking equipment).

Support experience with medical facilities in a production environment is required.
-
Experience supporting critical access hospitals is a plus.

Demonstrated experience solving issues related to workstations, thin clients, printers, scanners, servers, and networking equipment.

Experience using time-tracking software and documentation management.

Expert knowledge of Windows Server, and desktop operating systems, including Windows 10

Candidates with a working knowledge of Linux are desired

Experience managing and configuring networking hardware, such as managed switches, routers, and firewalls, is required.

Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, able to triage tasks between on-site help and technical teams.

Must be able to relay technical information to clients of varying skill levels in easy-to-understand terms.

Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment with co-workers and client staff members

Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of our client organization.
