Mon - Fri: 8 AM - 5 PM (40 Hours)
- Design and implement IaC templates using Terraform to automate Postgres database infrastructure provisioning across development, performance, training, and production environments.
- Manage database object migrations between environments using IaC pipelines.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize SQL queries and indexes for peak performance.
- Utilize Terraform and scripting to automate routine database management tasks such as:
- Creating and dropping databases, tables, indexes, constraints, triggers
- Scheduling backups and recovery procedures for corrupt or lost data
- Monitor database performance at the server and table level, identifying and implementing optimizations.
- Configure server-level variables for optimal database performance.
- Track database space utilization and implement strategies for scaling storage as needed.
- Establish standards for cloud-based Postgres deployments and document migration processes.
- Interact with technical support to resolve database or process-related issues.
- Continuously update technical knowledge in data management through training and experience.
- Generate reports and documentations for resolved tickets, maintaining awareness of various organizational projects.
- Create Documentation and reports for the tickets resolved, maintain overall understanding of various projects across the organization
- Provides weekend and after hours coverage for all systems on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
- Complete all required Bank Secrecy Act related training annually and maintain knowledge of current BSA policies, specifically those related to functions performed within the department
- Assists all areas as necessary or required by Manager.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).
