You’ll be joining the Automation business unit which is focused on providing full range of systems and solutions for the automation of airport baggage handling, mail sorting centers and courier logistics hubs, based on more than 40 years’ experience. We are looking to recruit a Test Manager/Commissioning Manager. This position will be hybrid with 2-3 days/week in office and will require some travel.
What You'll Be Doing
- Definition of the master test plans.
- Definition of the test strategies.
- Identification/definition of requirements based on specifications.
- Analysis of the requirements and acceptance criteria and design tests.
- Coordination the set-up of the test environment.
- Definition of the templates of all the deliverables required by the testing process.
- Implementation of test procedures.
- Creation and execution of test cases according to company guidelines and market best practices.
- Coordinate of the execution of tests on simulated and real environments.
- Manage anomalies and recirculation, according to company guidelines (Release Notes, Configuration Management, Defect management).
- Prepare reports to share with stakeholders.
Technical Requirements:
- Defect and error management
- Data analysis and interpretation
- MS Office
- MS Project
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Automation Engineering is preferable
- Senior: at least 5 years of experience in the engineering sector, especially in system validation and testing of Baggage Handling Systems, or within the material handling sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry standards.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
Language skills:
- Italian language skills are a plus.
Other:
- Driver’s license
- Availability for occasional medium to long-term travel (30% in a year).
- Must be able to work in U.S.
