Responsibility:
Coordinates and administers the purchasing process of spare parts to ensure the uninterrupted flow of parts associated with maintenance, repair, and operations.
Tasks:
- Places purchase orders according to usage and reorder points.
- Researches to find the most competitive price.
- Obtains and verifies supplier order confirmations.
- Ensures supplier conformance with requested shipping dates and terms.
- Coordinates with the finance department to accuracy of invoices, etc.
- Coordinates purchasing schedules with the planning of preventive maintenance or
planned shutdowns.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education / skills / experience:
- Associate's degree in industrial management, logistics, operations management,
preferred.
- Knowledge of contemporary supply chain management methods.
- Knowledge of purchasing contract law.
- Minimum of 2 years directly related experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Excel, Power Point, Accounting Software and Database software.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
