The Accounts Receivable Representative requires someone that is excited to be part of a high functioning team, has the desire to learn our AR processes, and is experienced working a full cycle account portfolio with a high transaction B2B environment. The candidate must be comfortable in a fast paced, results-oriented organization. Will possess a proficiency working within an ERP system (NetSuite experience highly desired) and vendor portals experience a plus.
The ideal candidate will work on the daily activities of AR, credit, and collections of an assigned account portfolio. Key responsibilities will include timely management of the AR, processing credit cards and the release orders of orders, processing of invoices into customer portal, managing and reconciliation of assigned accounts.
Responsibilities

Establish good time-management for daily AR, credit, and collection job requirements. Plans and maintains a program for the systematic follow up and collection of amounts due.

Communicate with assigned customer base portfolio for up-to-date payment status.

Build strong relationships with sales and customer service.

Manage the daily portal invoice process to expedite research of rejected invoices, work with customers and / or customer services for pricing adjustments, and payment from customers.

Prioritize portfolio calls to maintain DSOs and meet company delinquency goals, metrics/KPIs.

Prepare customer refund requests and adjustments to submit to manager for approval.

Analyze risk exposure based upon customer payment history and financial strength.

Review assigned portfolio to identify past due accounts and determine proper course of action.

Contacts appropriate accounts within your portfolio, in writing or in person, when necessary, to correct, prevent or minimize delinquency.

Monitors credit limit compliance and take appropriate action when limits are exceeded; recommends credit limit changes.

Takes appropriate action on assigned portfolio account balance irregularities and customer complaints as deemed necessary.

Prepare presentation for portfolio to resolve collection issues.

Provide clear, concise communication to internal and external partners as well as build relationships to support a best-in-class customer service experience.

Publish accurate reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, or ah-hoc basis.

Participate in special projects/audit support and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements

5+ years' Accounts Receivable - Full cycle Portfolio management - Account maintenance, reconciliation, trouble shooting, communication of accurate account balance and/or follow-up to identify root cause delaying payment, processing of adjustments, experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good working knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Great Plains, Oracle). NetSuite is preferred.

Good working knowledge of AR, collections, and reconciling customer accounts

Strong organizational and data skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
