The Client Service Associate (CSA) I, serves as a liaison between clients and financial advisors. He/She is responsible for maintaining client relationships and serves as a point of contact for client inquiries, account administration, and transaction activities. CSAs respond to client account needs and work collaboratively with the advice and investment departments to facilitate client requests, including coordinating schedules for meetings. CSAs also work closely with our custodian, Charles Schwab, to ensure client’s account needs are served timely and accurately. CSAs provide back-up support for all administrative assistant responsibilities as needed.
Client Services
- Greet clients and/or visitors professionally and pleasantly
- Communicate with clients both verbally and in writing
- Establish and maintain progressive client relationships by delivering exceptional service
- Respond to client investment and finance-related requests
- Maintain files and keep detailed notes on client issues, initiate and track actions into
database
- Provide assistance to clients in completing investment forms and submitting account applications, deposits and payments, money transfer requests, rollovers, beneficiary changes, notifications, etc.
- Assist clients with online account access, as well as navigation to reports and account information
- Run reports to segment clients, determine client needs, etc.
Support Advice Department
- Assist financial advisors with scheduling client appointments, meeting paperwork,
and reports
- Support financial advisors as needed during client meetings, providing answers or paperwork
Office Administration
- Assist with preparation of marketing materials, mailings,
and special projects
- Provide back-up support for company calls, lobby, and administrative assistant responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing US Postal Service, UPS, Federal Express mail/packages as needed

- Support and implement core values into daily work and team member interactions
- Participate in training and on-going learning opportunities as designated by manager
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree and 2 years’ related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-starter who takes initiative with little direction
- Inherent sense of accountability and ability to take responsibility for work
- Customer service oriented, with a pleasant demeanor and telephone manner
- Team oriented, with ability to collaborate honestly and respectfully
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
