The Regional Manager - Trading is responsible for the deployment/implementation / Coordination of the regional trading business strategy together with the Business Line Heads aligned with CEO AMI NAFTA, and oversee budget follow-up as well as guarantee homogeneous administrative and commercial practices inthe region.
Specifically about this position, it will be as mix of having own direct customers as well as coordination of trading activities undertaken by the existing Sales team for the full perimiter of the NAFTA region.
He/she is also responsible to coordinate with the Purchase/Sourcing side the best strategies for the supply to the NAFTA region, as well as look for best logistics alternatives.
Job description:
- Deploy the Trading strategy in NAFTA region, devising action plans, and coordinating with BL Managers / Sales Team and the Sourcing team in other AMI BA's;
- Support the whole AMI NAFTA sales team to increase the trading sales in the region;
- Elaborate and deploy/implement the commercial strategy for the country/region, together with the respective BL Managers / Country Manager;
- Participate in AMI NAFTA BAR meetings and budget elaboration regarding the trading initiatives;
- Give active support to the BL Managers / Sales Manager and sharing the philosophy of a trader to the team;
- Share and deploy best commercial practices in the region;
- Follow up of the main supply markets sharing intelligence with the team for quicker decision making;
- Promote the exchange of information between the supplying side and the sales side;
- Develop together with the marketing team a Market Intelligence Database, to be fully utilized by the sales and sourcing teams in order to capture the best opportunities and collect market trends.
Applicant attributes:
- BSc/BA in engineering, business administration, or relevant field;
- Negotiation skills;
- Previous experience in Sales for a Regional Trading Company;
- Experience in customer service;
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish will be an added advantage;
- Good communication and negotiation skills;

- Great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach;

- Frequent Domestics / International travel required (minimum once per month - 25% time).
