The Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Nursing Director to join our innovative Enhanced Medical GLE (EMGLE) program. The EMGLE provides critical services for individuals with complex mental health, substance use, and medical needs, helping them live safely and independently in the community.
In this key leadership role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients.
- Clinical Leadership: You'll provide direct oversight and support to LPNs and CNAs, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care. You'll also develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for each client.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with the Program Director, medical providers, and other staff to ensure continuity of care and coordinate specialized services.
- Training & Education: You'll provide ongoing training and support to staff on best practices for caring for individuals with complex needs.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- An RN license in the State of Massachusetts.
- 2-5 years of experience in nurse management, preferably in a similar setting.
- An additional 5-8 years of direct nursing experience, working with adults with behavioral health, substance use, and medical needs.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Diversified competencies, including a thorough knowledge of nursing including the application of basic theory, knowledge of the disease processes and the ability to train non-medical staff in the care and monitoring of the health needs of individuals served by the agency.
- The ability to train and mentor staff.
- A passion for providing compassionate care and making a difference in the lives of others.
- Valid license to operate a motor vehicle and have reliable transportation.
