Qualifications
Education: Completion of a bachelor degree in one of the following fields:behavior analysis, special education, psychology, early childhood
education, child development or other closely related field. Completion of at least 9-hours of behavior analytic coursework is required as set
forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Experience: Applicant’s must have a minimum of one year of supervised experience by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the implementation,
design, monitoring and oversight of behavior analytic programs by others. In addition, the scope of the applicant’s experience must include
demonstrating the above skills with at least 5 families.
Job Requirements: Applicants are responsible for all lead therapist responsibilities plus providing intensive training to parents and therapists
in program implementation, providing recommendations under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), addressing
parental concerns, communicating with all members of the client’s team,leading some team meetings in the BCBA’s absence, monitoring and
overseeing the implementation of programs by other members, developing behavior reduction programs, conducting functional assessments
and analyses and assisting the BCBA in presentations/workshops and in other projects that will lead to the applicant’s overall skill development.
