We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Clerk (Associate) We are looking for an experienced Warehouse professional with computer skills, the ability to manage time-sensitive issues, and a large driver customer base. At MAPEI you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of the warehouse operations; shipping and receiving, managing goods, inventory, quality control, and utilizing computerize systems (RF Scanners & ERP system) to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery for MAPEI’s customers.
The role
- Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction through high quality service by ensuring excellent planning of shipments.
- Verify, compare, and confirm type and quantity of received/shipped goods against information contained on bills of lading, invoices, pick tickets or other records by weighing and/or counting incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Unpack and inspect general state of the incoming shipments. Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken and/or unidentified package to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet standards and specifications.
- Operate lift truck/pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Track shipments of goods through Federal Express, UPS, and other shipping companies.
- Work with the Unit Manager, Production Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Customers (Drivers) in any and all duties necessary to ensure the safe, consistent, and profitable operation of the facility.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
- Perform other duties as required.

Hourly pay staring at $18.36 p/hr (commensurate with experience) plus premium shift differentials; $1.00 p/hr for 2nd and $2.00 for 3rd shift.
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit.
- You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- You should be proficient and comfortable with computers
- Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
- Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be available for overtime as needed and able to accommodate the designated shift hours as assigned in the offer: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 am approx.) or a 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am approx.)
