The Clinician is responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical services offered to assigned clients, including the provision of individual, group, and family therapy. This includes providing clinical services and appropriate therapy to assigned clients in assigned programs as well as assisting as needed with those functions for remote sites. This responsibility also includes providing training on clinical issues as needed to other employees.
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)
1. Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required.
2. Licensed (LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMT, LMSW, LCSW)
3. Experience working with adolescents and their families in a mental and/or behavioral health setting preferred, particularly experience with major psychiatric diagnoses.
4. Prior experience providing individual, group, and family therapy.
5. Must possess moderate personal computer knowledge and skills.
6. Working knowledge and understanding of specific therapeutic model - CBT, DBT
