AzayaIT is a Rapidly growing fixed-cost Managed IT Service Provider in Western Mass looking to hire an Entry Level IT Field Technician.

Basic Job Functions.
- Travel to client sites to provide support.
- Deploy routers, switches, access points, laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, phones, and peripherals.
- Support client approved software with a strong knowledge of current or existing Operating systems and Applications.
- Assist in resolution of onsite incidents to return service to clients as quickly as possible.
- Work with the team to escalate incidents & service requests as directed.
- Performing onboarding tasks at new client locations.
- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
- Respond knowledgeably & in a manner understandable to the customer with regards to questions or technical issues.
- Perform basic cabling tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required.
- Understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
- Must have strong IT related diagnostic skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
- Service awareness of all organization’s key services for which support is being provided.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.
Education and Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year client or customer technical support role or equivalent experience.
- Help desk and/or Field service experience.
- Technical certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift / move 50lbs.
- High school or equivalent (Required)
