Introduction: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated licensed mental health counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our team. As a licensed counselor, you will provide professional counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups dealing with a variety of mental health and emotional issues. You will work collaboratively with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate positive changes in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and mental health status.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical experience and evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and others as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay updated on best practices, ethical standards, and relevant laws pertaining to counseling and mental health.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
- Proven experience in counseling individuals across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
