CDM Smith's Industrial Business Unit is looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer for a temporary role of 6 months. During this time you will be an integral part of a dynamic marketing team charged with supporting the accelerated growth of our unit. If you are a visionary thinker and enjoy collaborating with teams to lead the development of graphically oriented storylines for proposals and presentations, we are interested in talking to you. Candidates must be very creative and able to bring ideas to life that visually engage our clients and convey the distinguishing features of our approach and technical solutions. High importance is placed on a positive attitude, being flexible with change, and working well with others in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work that showcases visually engaging and highly innovative content that is compliant with client RFPs while connecting with the audience.
**The Industrial Unit staff are located across the United States, so we are open to considering candidates near one of our many offices in the United States.**
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
- Designing and producing complex proposals, presentations, and marketing materials or updating existing materials to support the Industrial team
- Managing the production and distribution of final products (print, post, animate, ship ...) This can include interactions with internal and external vendors, such as photographers, printers and technology suppliers, to ensure price, quality, schedule and delivery of materials
- Performing project planning for moderately complex projects while collaborating with creative teammates, other marketing staff and clients on communication concepts, themes, and approaches
- Researching and bringing fresh ideas to the team for highly engaging client presentations and proposals
- Conferring with marketing staff and internal clients on proving graphics and concepts, themes, and approaches
- Reviewing work to ensure the accuracy and quality of all materials produced
- Conducting final quality review of complex projects, with an eye for quality and brand compliance while sharing technical and design and knowledge with peers
- Contributing to the maintenance and development of company-wide brand standards (LFT, website)
- Maintaining computer software and systems upgrades
- Archiving project files and associated assets in a timely manner
