SUMMARY
The Marketing Project Manager – Commercial Success is responsible for ensuring commercial readiness of all product launches to drive demand with a favorable customer experience. This individual will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of product launch with a focus on ensuring high quality training across the commercial organization for consistent messaging at launch. The manager also ensures a favorable customer experience on 3rd party platforms as the owner of product data integration. The manager also oversees the field sales sample process to optimize the process and leverage this investment to drive demand. The position requires excellent project management and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive commercial success across the organization. Cross-functional teams include product development, IT, engineering, ecommerce, and marketing.
FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES
Project Management: Product Data Integration
- Maintain and monitor quality of product data to ensure active items are displayed correctly on PCNA.com and 3rd party marketplaces (e.g. ASI, Sage)
- Business owner for product data integration for Sage, ASI, and other 3rd party platforms
- Coordinate issue resolution requests from ecommerce or integration team on product data issues
- Monitor existing reports and identify opportunities for improvement with new tools to optimize processes and maintain correct sku management
- Lead coordination of removing unavailable or unsellable skus on 3rd party platforms
- Lead cross-functional team to facilitate issue resolution with product data quality including process for adding or removing new or discontinued skus from selling platforms.
- Sponsor continuous improvements to our product data management process and partner with IT and business teams to ensure current and accurate product data
- Provide regular updates to business leadership on project status, gaps, and escalations
Manager: Commercial Launch Readiness
- Serve as commercial product expert for all product launch items, understanding and aligning with product development on key features and benefits for internal communication
- Define and implement Field Sales Sample process in accordance with product launch processes, ensuring appropriate and timely merchandising and receipt of field sales samples to optimize efficacy.
- Optimize and implement product training process, including definition of stakeholders, milestones, dependencies, templates and materials to improve commercial readiness in association with product launch to drive revenue generation
- Develop and maintain training materials for all internal commercial teams including field sales, inside sales, and customer support to ensure consistent messaging at launch
- Develop plug-and-play product content emphasizing product positioning for integrated marketing team to utilize in developing customer facing materials
- Manage product pulls and orders for key commercial events, including merchandising lists for national tradeshows and major campaigns to ensure products are decorated and delivered on time
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong project management skills and ability to create and maintain a project plan
- Proven experience leading cross-functional meetings and driving results to meet goals and tight timelines
- Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and driving projects to completion
- Excellent presentation skills required for preparation and training of internal teams
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- BS required in business, marketing, technology, or related degree
- 5-7 years managing product launch projects, preferably in a medium to large corporate environment in industrial/manufacturing industry
- 3-5 years project management, product management, marketing or related experience
- Experience planning/organizing/monitoring project performance using appropriate program management tools and techniques
- Experience with industry standard PMO tools or experience in MS Project or Airtable
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
- Experience developing or presenting training materials a plus
