Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes.
- Ensure food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with theteam to plan menus and create new dishes
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food waste
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the kitchen
- Monitor food quality and presentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent knife skills for cutting, chopping, and slicing ingredients
