Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to join our team as a Camp Counselor. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a crucial role in creating a fun and safe environment for our campers. You will be responsible for planning and leading activities, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our campers, and providing support to our campers with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, and educational programs.
- Provide individualized support and care to campers with special needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our campers.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp culture that promotes socialization, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a safe and organized environment for all campers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded camp experience.
- Participate in pre-camp training sessions to prepare for the camp season.
- Provide support to campers during meals, snacks, and other daily activities.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in early childhood education, childhood development, or a related field.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting.
- Knowledge of special education principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage classroom dynamics and behavior.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.62 - $19.57 per hour
