Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a background in healthcare construction to oversee the planning, design, and execution of healthcare facilities projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, patient safety, and medical construction standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage all phases of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met within the allotted time and within the allocated budget.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards including but not limited to local, state and federal regulations and permitting requirements
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols to protect workers, patients, and staff.
- Team Coordination:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and construction crews.
- Facilitate effective communication between all project participants including contractors, design teams and PeopleOne Health Executive
- Quality Control:
- Monitor construction progress and perform regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure all facilities will pass any inspection
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple healthcare facility projects on-time and within budget.
- Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare construction regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
- OSHA certification in Construction Safety is a plus.
Work Environment:
- The role requires frequent visits to construction sites and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to navigate and inspect all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
