About the team:
IT Engineering is a small team responsible for internal applications, automation, and scripting to support C2FO’s IT needs using many languages, platforms, and technologies. C2FO IT engineering builds solutions for multiple types of issues using a diverse set of technologies.
About the position:
C2FO IT Engineering builds solutions to support the needs of the C2FO IT Department. This includes but is not limited to; systems automation to trigger jobs based on webhooks, scheduled tasks, data integration and synchronization, alerting and monitoring systems, and any other engineering needs that arise. The job is as diverse as the needs of the IT team and uses any technology that could fulfill the need.
Essential Duties:
- Configure and maintain internal systems automation.
- Synchronize data across multiple systems on various platforms using various application development tools.
- Setup and configure application platforms and ensure they meet security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and configure systems platforms, pipelines, and codebases.
- Documentation and communication for internal teams and end-users.
- Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and leverage IT staff for routine tasks by clearly documenting design, maintenance, and support procedures.
- Test software routinely for bugs, redundancies, and security issues.
- Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish preventive measures.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience or comparable Lab work experience.
- Experience with or knowledge of scripting languages and operating systems.
- Cloud platform backup and recovery procedures.
- System performance-monitoring tools.
- Active directory virtualization.
- Basic TCP/IP routing principles, ACL, and VPN.
- Basic DEVOPS principles.
- Knowledge of Git or other version-control software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in technology or computer science.
- Experience in SQL.
- Professional certification (AWS, Azure, GCP).
