General Description: Directly lead in the identification and development of new business opportunities, as well as the maintenance and continued growth of previous or existing customers as assigned. Develop, plan, and carryout sales strategies, focusing on the acquisition and closure of new business. The role is responsible for the continued growth of the organization, including but not limited to its offerings to the automotive, medical device and consumer product industries. He/she will be required to travel to all customers in the U.S. and prospective customer locations through Europe, Central and Latin America.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Continually research and analyze all available information to determine new business opportunities, identify clients and market segment opportunities, and devise a plan for reaching and these potential clients. Employ customized, effective selling techniques and close sales.
- Lead Generation: Initiate contact, via cold calling or other means, with prospective clients that could benefit from our Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and LSR 2-Shot injection molding services. Attend and or participate (as necessary) in sales events, meetings, speaking engagements/presentations, seminars, trade shows, and exhibitions for the purpose of learning more about potential opportunities and to inform potential clients about what we do, in order to generate leads.
- Lead Nurturing: Assist in ensuring that all lead interaction is recorded in the IQMS CRM module. Actively follow up on all potential leads, making sure to stay in touch with contacts that may lead to future business opportunities.
- Relationship Development: Establish, build, and maintain relationships with potential and current customers. Serve as a liaison between potential (and assigned previous/existing) clients and SIMTEC Silicone Part’s engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Corporate and Social Responsibility: Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities.
- Perform any other appropriate duties as required by a Managing Director in support of business needs.
