Integrity EPC is currently seeking experienced full-time Advanced Non Destructive Examination (NDE) Technicians to join our expanding team in Houston TX. The Advanced NDE Technician will conduct robust NDE and Materials Verification Inspections for clients primarily in the midstream pipeline and facility oil and gas industry. In this role, technicians will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting NDE and material verification inspections, interpreting results, and generating final report deliverables. To be successful as an NDE Technician, extensive experience with NDE technologies is required as well as strong attention to detail, and meticulous reporting skills. There are openings for a full time W2 position and Part Time 1099 contractor. Pay will depend on certifications and experience. This position is needed for long term projects in West Texas or New Mexico, and Offshore. The applicant must be willing to occasionally travel for other projects nationwide if needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
- Travel to clients' locations.
- Setting up, calibrating and maintaining NDE equipment.
- Conducting robust inspections on pipelines and midstream facilities.
- Conducting robust material verification using non-destructive techniques.
- Direct assessment and correlation of ILI run on client assets.
- Program development; key team member in continual improvement of service program to include improvement support of procedures and work instructions.
- Interpreting inspection results, completing inspection reports, and presenting final deliverables to customers.
- Ensures quality standards are achieved.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Assist other technicians in the field as necessary.
- Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
- Works safely and completes all company and client safety daily paperwork.
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures in their entirety.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Assisting data group with QA/QC of report deliverables on assigned projects.
- Using experience and knowledge, assist peers and other Company NDE Technicians with questions.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- 5+ years of pipeline integrity experience required.
- Significant technical background in NDE methods and procedures.
- NDE experience, ASNT TC-1a Level II or equivalent Certification in UT and MT, at minimum two (preferably three) applicable advanced NDE certification (PAUT, TOFD, GUL, AUT, Creaform, Mat V, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Extensive experience in report writing.
- Experience in QA/QC functions on a report and NDE method level.
- Demonstrated capability to perform the responsibilities of an NDE Technician.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Customer Management.
- Job requires 80% travel.
- Communicates effectively with key customers to identify future needs and positions the company effectively to capitalize on these.
- Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer and market relationships.
- Ensures the delivery of superior solutions to customers.
- Able to work in outside environments, in various climates.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driver's record.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check, and a DOT drug screen.
- Coordinate with Business Development to identify strategic accounts and play an active role in developing these accounts.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Relocation will not be paid, this position will travel and work from a home office.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
