Driving Position with Windstar: where Fun, Family, & Flexibility Live

As a motorcoach driver, your circle of friends will grow, not only with your fellow drivers and Windstar employees, but with our customers. Customers often request drivers repeatedly, as lifelong friendships grow from these relationships.

Company Overview:

Windstar Lines is one of the largest and most capable motorcoach companies in the area. Our family owned and operated business is based in Carroll, IA, a small town of 10,000 based in Western Iowa. From this small town, Windstar has grown and opened locations in 11 other cities across the country. The owners are hands-on in day-to-day operations, and even drive during peak times of the year. Ownership and management have a deep appreciation for what our professional motorcoach operators do every day, and that appreciation shows in the family culture and fun working environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. A SAFETY-first attitude, with Customer Service a close second
2. A Class B or A CDL with an air brake and passenger endorsement (CDL assistance available in some instances).
3. Individuals must be at least 22 years old
4. A professional and neat appearance
5. Individuals must be able to lift 75 lbs. from time to time
6. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and reference checks. Must be willing to participate in our random drug and alcohol testing program
7. High moral character, and a flexible attitude
8. Willingness to travel and be gone overnight
9. Good driving record

Position Summary:

What is a day-in-the-life like? Motorcoach drivers arrive at the shop and perform DOT required pre-trip inspection, travel in the motorcoach to pick up your group, and then the adventure begins! Trips can be as short as a two hour airport transfer, to a day trip across town or across the state, or even an overnight or multi-day trip where you truly get to know your group. We have unique opportunities at each of our 13 locations across the United States with something for everyone – including you!

Positions are available full and part time. Full time drivers earn up between $60,000-75,000 per year plus gratuities based on working 5 days a week. Part time drivers need to be able to work an average of 10 days a month including most weekends. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off for holidays and vacations, 401K with company match, bonuses, and much more.
