General Superintendent - London Bay Homes

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of the General Superintendent is to provide overall direction of field operations and staff, training, supervising and mentoring to ensure quality work is performed and superior quality work product is attained. Ensures that the contracted scopes of work are fulfilled to the highest quality possible. Provide safety training, ensuring all field staff and trade partners are complying with OSHA standards. Identify and training new field staff on the “London Bay Way”. Success is defined as: On-schedule, on-budget, and the home meets or exceeds LBH quality standards. Concurrently, an exceptional and positive client “Private Label Living” experience is provided to the client.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Minimum of a High school diploma; Bachelor’s Degree strongly desired in Construction management, Business or Engineering.
Mandatory Experience/Background 10 + years of superintendent experience in residential construction. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, high energy environment, managing multiple priorities. Positive attitude, self-starter, serve as an example of LBH Core Values. Demonstrated competency with a computer-based scheduling and project management software and systems. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of leading, managing and supervising construction field staff, including hiring, training and mentoring.
Desired Experience/Qualifications: Luxury building experience and working with high-end clientele. Experience with scheduling software, Procore, Outlook, and Excel.
Physical Requirements: May occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to drive/travel to different job sites. May occasionally climb a ladder. Must be able to proficiently manage time and schedules.

Pay: Commensurate with Experience
