Collaborations recruit new customers, evolve our brand, and support our design vision. The Collaborations Team at Coach develops partnership strategies, creates external relationships, and manages the lifecycle of each project. This area is very cross functional and touches many functions within the company. Collaborations are high-profile and high touch launches, requiring frequent interaction with the Coach Brand Leadership team.

A Collaborations team member is a dynamic role that wears many hats to bring cross-functional partners together and drive projects forward. This individual draws upon a well-rounded background to manage each collaboration holistically, being a key contact for both internal and external teams. The role flexes between making business deals with legal, finance, and merchandising and having creative strategic discussions with design and marketing. Presentation, commercial, and interpersonal skills are important factors to success.

COLLABORATION SUPPORTING ROLE

Project Management:
- Supports day-to-day operations to execute each collaboration project.
- Learns partner’s approval process (product, commercial, marketing) and communicates requirements to internal teams.
- Tracks and control workflows with Design, PD, Production, P&L, and Marketing to ensure timely systematic approvals.
- Updates and assists cross-functional teams prepare for launch (i.e. product knowledge, copy, marketing, etc.)
- Guarantees sku/assortment integrity (ECV attributes/tagging, cross-category decks) with merchant project-leads.
- Performs sales and royalty forecasting with finance and planning based on sales analysis.
- Tracks timely payments and invoicing with finance/accounting and sets up vendors in Buying Hub.
- Orders and facilitates receipt of partner contractual samples.
- Updates and shares contractual end-date calendars corporately with inventory direction.
- Reviews stock outside of sales terms for liquidation, obtains partner approvals as needed.

Legal Administration:
- Supports deal negotiations that support the overall collaboration strategy in partnership with Sr. Manager
- Issues and reviews NDAs for prospective partner discussions with legal.
- Creates term sheets for contract drafting and works closely with legal to finalize contract drafts.
- Summarizes and communicates key contractual terms (i.e. commercial, distribution, trademark) across the organization including sales, marketing, buying/planning, and finance/accounting.
- Facilitates social compliance, vendor set ups, and trade needs (Letters of Authorization) for all partners.
- Obtains approvals on final accounts/doors and maintains confirmed list per project.
