Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing the full range of recruitment activities across the organization to help meet hiring needs through attracting, screening, coordinating interviews and onboarding qualified and preferred talent suited to Myomo’s open positions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping to reinforce our employer brand and scaling our recruiting practice as we grow as an organization. He/she will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Generalist/s, and HR Business Partners as well as hiring managers to fulfill requirements for open roles.

This is a hybrid role that will require 3 days a week on-site at Myomo HQ in the Boston area.

Responsibilities

Leverage industry knowledge and negotiation skills to source, attract, and engage top-tier talent at market rate within budget.
Identify and understand needs, developing job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers.
Write and post job descriptions to social media, job boards, and industry communities/ university-affiliated sites.
Attract suitable candidates through a variety of channels including databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
Benchmark market salary ranges for given specialties, skill, education/certification, and experience levels through market research.
Manage job postings and ad allocations on social media sites, optimizing spend and cutting unnecessary costs through ceasing campaigns when appropriate.
Assess applicant knowledge, skill, and experience to best suit open positions. Screen by knowledge base requirements, availability, licenses/certifications, education, niche background and skill sets, salary requirements, location, and other parameters as defined by hiring managers.
Coordinate and schedule interviews according to hiring managers’ availability.
Present additional options to managers on request at varying salary/ education levels for additional comparison to clarify true needs and “best fit.”
Build rapport as well as candidate/referral networks throughout the interview process; obtain information regarding candidate career direction and interview activity to assess interest level.
Provide an efficient, high-touch experience for all candidates throughout the key stages of their application, interviewing and offer process.
Align objectives given strong hiring manager interest, pre-closing candidacy through securing the candidate’s commitment to join Myomo.
Play a vital role in securing candidate acceptance to offers in both verbal and written formats, guiding negotiations when helpful and relaying documentation requirements/ start date information.
Identify secondary options in the event of candidates becoming unavailable or accepting other offers.
Conduct and submit reference, background and licensures checks as required prior to new hire starting date.
Assist with onboarding processes, following up with prospective hires as needed to obtain documentation, licenses, and other needed items as appropriate.
Leverage employer brand and culture to present and endorse a strong, positive employment opportunity.
Stay current on employment legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with EEOC/employment law requirements.
Provide and update recruitment metrics, data, and reporting to hiring managers, supplying real-time market information on role status and skill/experience availability.
Assist with HR Generalist duties including interview and onboarding coordination, compensation benchmarking, and potentially other tasks as appropriate.

Requirements

Experience in recruiting for administrative, technical/engineering, and clinical positions.
3+ years of corporate recruitment experience in either a Medical Device, IT or Healthcare industry.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and Talent Acquisition/Management tools.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent assessment and interviewing skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects/priorities using tactical and strategic analytical skills.
Proactive, self-starting mentality along with goal orientation and the ability to work independently.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
Collaborative team-player mentality.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills along with strong attention to detail.
