Position Title: Director of Preschool Operations
Organization: The Family of Faith Preschools, a Ministry of the Family of Faith Lutheran Church

The mission of The Family of Faith is to love Jesus, love others, and share the Gospel. Our Early Childhood Centers welcome children from diverse spiritual backgrounds, offering care and learning experiences for children from infancy to age four, along with before and after-school care for nearby schools.
Position Overview:
The Director of Preschool Operations will develop and manage a Gospel-centered preschool ministry, serving the community’s children. This full-time position reports to the Pastor of the Congregation or his designee.
Key Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Supervision: Two Christian preschool locations
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday)
- Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience and performance)

Qualifications:
- Current Texas Child-Care Center Director’s Certificate.
- Proven experience managing early child-care centers across multiple locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with early childhood education credits.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Active practitioner of the Christian faith.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Project management expertise with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience of preschool operations and business management practices.
- Experience in business development initiatives to achieve growth.
- Able to lift 25 pounds or the weight of a small child.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers and conformance with church policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for governmental and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee and assist site directors and staff in planning and evaluating developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Ensure classrooms and facilities reflect a professional and Christian environment.
Communication:
- Foster effective communication with preschool parents, staff, prospective families, and the church congregation.
- Encourage feedback regarding preschool programs and activities!
- Maintain strong relationships with the Pastor, church staff, and Preschool Ministry Team by attending meetings and presenting monthly reports.
Staff Management:
- Regularly monitor and provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback for team member performance.
- Recommend merit raises based on team member performance.
- Ensure high performance and positive employee relations!
- Develop and implement professional development plans for team members!
- Encourage teamwork and provide leadership to the preschool team members!
Administration:
- Monitor, and manage preschool records as required by Texas licensing requirements and the Preschool Ministry Team.
- Set and evaluate ministry goals and objectives, manage facilities, plan budgets, delegate tasks, and track progress.
- Handle enrollment and parent interviews, communicating ministry philosophy and goals.
Marketing and Outreach:
- Develop long-term plans for the growth of the Preschool Ministry.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise community awareness of the Christian education offered!
- Manage preschool website content and work with the communication team to deploy marketing strategies.
Financial Management:
- Understand and manage financial performance, including enrollment ratios, profit and loss statements, payroll costs, staff turnover, and operating costs.
- Ensure tuition and fees are managed and collected. Administer tuition scholarships as available base on need.
Spiritual Development:
- Support and work with the Senior Pastor in the spiritual development of preschool staff.
- Provide a distinctly Christian environment, sharing God’s love through teaching, sharing, and praying!
Congregational Involvement:
- Collaborate with ministry teams, church staff, and leaders to execute the Congregation’s preschool ministry!
- Build relationships between congregation members and preschool families, laying the foundation for a personal relationship with Christ!
