We have an immediate opening for an Regional Training Leader. The Regional Training Leader partners with Operations to build a sustainable training culture in their market, with a primary focus on building a network of Certified Training Managers and driving company training initiatives. Other key areas of responsibility assessing field-based learning needs and maintaining a feedback loop on training tools.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an integral member of the HR Team, this position is responsible for:
- Build and support Certified Training Restaurants for Future Managers to ensure we are training in the best environment possible.
- To lead and support successful training per company and brand expectations that drives readiness and growth inside their position in assigned market or markets.
- Gate keeper of assigned markets “Training KPI’s” (Position Training, Certified Managers, etc.) and communicating timelines and needs to drive improvement with their Operations Leaders.
- Ensure ServSafe proctors are available in all areas and tracking of ServSafe certifications to stay compliant with local and state health guidelines.
- Manage the promotion process by ensuring all managers are fully trained and certified before allowing them to run shifts alone.
- Assess field-based learning needs and influence the design of training programs by providing input and guidance on training development needed to close identified gaps. Evaluate and pilot developed materials and provide on-going feedback on materials and content.
- Coordinate or lead Shift Manager, Assistant Manager or Restaurant General Manager training and ensure periodic bi-weekly follow ups with the trainee are calendarized on a period basis through the training cycle to drive external retention.
- Lead company workshops for current and new manager for development growth. (i.e.: Leadership Development Workshops, P&L Workshops, Coaching and future additions and creation of workshops)
- Field visits with District Managers in the assigned market on a weekly basis with visits that are focused on training execution and targeted training outliers.
- Lead restaurants to have a certification process for all positions by using Shoulder to Shoulder training processes.
- Calendarized store visits to follow up on training.
- Own communication and roll out plans for LTO’s and lead the physical roll out to District Managers.
- Manage brand compliance videos to ensure areas are 100%.
- Attendance on bench calls to drive training completion and to work with staffing on bench needs.
- Building Quarterly calendars with class dates and utilizing a structured sign-up process for teams to use. Tracking participants completion.
- Support new RGM’s in position with Building a Great Restaurant Roadmap with a weekly call in their first 60 days.
HERE’S WHAT Education & Experience YOU WILL NEED:
- Burger King experience required.
- At least 3 years of hands-on leadership experience as a Restaurant General Manager or higher in a quick service restaurant.
- Experience running a training store is preferred.
- ServSafe Certified
- Experience in training all levels of employees in a QSR environment.
- Training and Facilitation certification preferred.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage people and processes.
- Must drive execution in a compassionate and collaborative manner.
- Must possess well-developed leadership and organizational skills.
- Must be project oriented and have the ability to follow through on long term goals.
- Must be able to develop training plans and schedules to support business objectives.
- Desire to be in a customer-oriented environment.
- Must be flexible and work independent of the shift and work hours.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Ability to handle multi-tasking and excel in fast a paced environment.
- High degree of dependability and integrity.
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in a restaurant environment.
