Our office located in Cincinnati, OH has an immediate need for an experienced, detail-oriented, Residential Service Plumber . The ideal Residential Service Plumber candidate will have a thorough knowledge of residential plumbing concepts. The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently, have great attention to detail, have exceptional multi-tasking skills, be organized, and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, nonexempt, at-will position, with additional earning incentives. This is a full-time position with overtime. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
Troubleshoot to locate and repair pipe and pipeline systems using various methods
Able to diagnose leaks of an unknown source (up to down leaks)
Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
Able to perform drain cleaning
Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair
Prepare written work cost estimates for clients
Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
Meet sales goals and metrics
Adhere to safety policies and procedures

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

2 - 4 years of previous residential plumbing experience
Solid understanding of basic plumbing concepts, water distribution, and disposal systems in residential buildings
Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 75lbs)
Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable
Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical. Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
May work in closed or cramped space on occasion
